At Oxiplant, traceability is much more than a regulatory requirement: it is an essential tool for ensuring the quality, transparency and reliability of each of our production processes.
From the receipt of raw materials to the delivery of the final product, each item is identified, checked and documented, allowing us to know at all times its origin, the operations carried out and those responsible for each stage of the process.
Our traceability system is fully integrated into the ERP management system, allowing us to digitally control all information associated with each order or project in both directions.
Each sheet or material received is verified against documentation, validating certificates and technical characteristics. It is then assigned a unique traceability number, which accompanies it throughout its life cycle within Oxiplant.
From this point onwards, all operations performed on this material—cutting, folding, bending, machining, welding, or surface treatment—are recorded under the same code. This allows each finished part to be immediately linked to the original sheet metal, the purchase order, and the corresponding quality certificates.
Tracking is carried out both forwards and backwards, making it possible to quickly identify which materials have been used in a given order or, conversely, in which products a given sheet has been used. This bidirectional traceability is a fundamental guarantee in sectors that demand maximum precision and document control, such as shipbuilding, energy, industrial, nuclear, and defence.
